Vax Mobile App

Remotely manage your VAX system on the go, from wherever you are. Authorized users can control most day-to-day administrative tasks via their smartphone, such as adding, modifying, and deleting users, unlocking and overriding doors, floors, inputs, and outputs, initiate action plans, and even controlling multiple sites.

Vicon-Pass App

The Vicon-Pass App lets you unlock doors and issue temporary visitor credentials to guests’ smartphones. Authorized visitors receive a web link—in the form of a text or an email—that will grant them temporary access to a specific door.

VAX Elevator Controllers

The Vicon elevator controller is used to incorporate elevator access into the VAX system. It provides control of up to 8 floors (4 cabs). The controller module is housed in a metal enclosure that can accept up to 7 expanders, for a total of up to 64 floors.

VAX Mobile Readers & Credentials

Vicon’s series of contactless smartcard readers with mobile access support offers a new level of convenience for Vicon Access Control (VAX) customers who prefer to use their smartphones (iPhone or Android) instead of cards or fobs. Upon installing a smartphone app (VAX-BTC), users can scan their own, unique VAX credentials into their phones, allowing them to communicate via Bluetooth with specialized door readers.

VAX Servers

Vicon Access Control (VAX) is a full-featured credential-based system that can be installed on a standalone PC or ordered preinstalled on a Vicon certified server. It can be accessed and controlled by a standard web browser on a local or wide area network, the Internet or a wireless network. No software installation is required to access the system. It is fully compatible with the Valerus Video Management System and combining the two provides a complete solution for access control and video surveillance applications from small systems to very large systems.
